By utilizing computer vision technology and the expertise of licensed medical practitioners, Scanoma offers a comprehensive solution.

Getting started is simple. Just take a photo of your mole and send it to a Scanoma doctor for a thorough examination. Our AI algorithm, trained on a vast database of images, will provide you with a free diagnosis. Additionally, you have the option to seek a second opinion from a dermatologist, all within the comfort and privacy of your own home using your iPhone.

It is crucial to note that while Scanoma serves as an invaluable resource, it does not replace the expertise of a human doctor. Computer vision technology is highly accurate but not infallible. Scanoma analyzes your images based on confirmed patient images of regular moles and skin cancer, providing an indication of similarity, but it is not a definitive diagnosis.

Scanoma's capabilities are specifically tailored to assess moles only. Consequently, submitting images of non-mole entities such as birthmarks or objects will not yield reliable results. Should any doubt persist, we recommend seeking a second opinion from a dermatologist through Scanoma (consultation fees may apply) or consulting with a local dermatologist physically.

For optimal results, ensure that your skin images are clear and unobstructed. It is important to note that at this time, Scanoma does not support the analysis of tattooed skin.
